And yes, I broke down and bought something!!  However, I have to say that I have been doing real good!  So there!  I feel guilty and I will make it up!  But, considering that I got stopped for speeding (doing 85 of 55) and would have gotten a crazy ticket for what they call down here a "Supper Speeder" ticket and would have had to pay over $300, but the cop was nice enough to lower it to something lesser (dont know if I should be saying this publicly), I think that this little guilty pleasure was wayyyyy cheaper in comparison to that ticket.  Dont you agree?  I do.  I can't wait to wear them and show you.

This is my "I'm a mom, I am going to my son's school, but I am still hot" look.  I love these shoes that I got from Cathy Jeans Shoes - As high as they are, they are supper comfortable.  What more can you ask from a pair shoes -- Sexy, high, and comfy!  It doesn't get any better than that.

Um, simply amazing - I love her boldness in this outfit!  Someone looked at her and said, WHY ARE YOU WEARING YELLOW SHOES?  and she simply answers, BECAUSE IT GOES!  and you know what Mandy?  YES THEY DO!!  I love it!! She doesnt know this, but she inspires me to do and try new things. 

My Orange Pants

I first got this inspiration from a magazine a few weeks ago. 

Then I saw Sincerely Miss J and I had to try it.  It took me all but 5 mins to put it together - I mean, it was already created for me.  Don’t be afraid to get inspiration from others and to learn from others.  Fashion is made for all to enjoy!

The Joys of Being a Grownup

NOT!!! As I was watching this movie with my kids “Judy Moody and The Not Bummer Summer” I thought to myself, “what excites me as much as those kids on their last day of school?”  NOTHING!

Ooh, how much do we miss those days.  Those childhood days full of no worries.  All you worried about was going to school and then having the summer off full of adventures and vacations.  Now?  Work and possibly a 1 week vacation, if you can afford to do so.  You struggle into work when you are not feeling your best and save your other days for the many times your kid(s) will be sick and you will need to take them to the doctor or stay home with them.  Well, that’s what I do – having 3 kids with different levels of asthma. 

There is no fun like that for me anymore.  So what do I do?  I have fun with my clothes.  I enjoy dressing up or down and making it fun.  Don’t concern yourself with what others like and want to see.  Make you day a happy one by putting on something that will make you feel confident, sexy and fun.  All while keeping it classy of course.

Dressing UP Your Jeans!

Aaaaaah, how wonderful it is to be able to come to work in your jeans.  But even more beautiful is how we learn to dress them up by adding some sexy heels and a cute top. 

Emily, a girl that loves her Starbucks, did perfect in my book.  She paired her light peach top with some natural color heels to complete the look.  Its sexy, simple and elegant.  To finish the look, she added a very cute long necklace – I didn’t take a great picture of it, but it’s a very sexy and right on point.  Do you not love how she cuffed her pants?  To show off some very cute shoes, that’s all you have to do – add a cuff or two and you are ready for the city!

White Jeans in October?

Really JJ? Yes, Really!!  This is my way of sticking it to Mother-Nature.  This is not how this weather is supposed to be this time of year in the South.  So there (sticking tongue out).  Dare to brake the fashion rules --if you think there is one-- rules were made to be broken.  Do your own thing.  Go for it.  Try something new and something you didnt think you would normally wear.  I thought I was tucking my white jeans away for the year.  But you know what?  I had something to prove to me, you and the world.  You can do your own thing whenever you want.  Dont let the magazines dictate what you should wear and when you should wear it.  Dare to be yourself!

Remember my blog White After Labor Day?  If you want to wear white during the cooler weather, try some warm/darker colors with it and it will be just fine.

Wii - Just Dance 2 & 3

OMG!! you think this is just fun and no work?  You are wrong!!!!  It is sooo much fun AND such a workout.  I love it and the kids love it.  If you find it boring working out at home alone, try this.  It might just work and help you get motivated.  You can find it at your local Walmart, etc.

Eye-Catching

Beautiful Eye makeup by Amanda!! Dont you just love it.  She is so creative with her makeup, clothes, and nail polish.  One of these days, I will show you her nail polish so you can see for yourself how creative she is.

NYX

I just love, love, love this brand -- NYX!  Tired of buying those expensive brands like me (Mac, Smashbox, Tarte, Urban Decay)?  Well how about you try NYX!  Did I mention how much I love, love that I found this brand?  Their lipgloss? FAB!  They shadow primer? FAB!  So far, thats all I have tried as far as this brand.  My main issue was my eyeshadown not staying on all day.  So to find a primer that helped was awesome!  From Tarte and Urban Decay, I love their eyeliners because they stay on all day.  My next step is to try NYX's eyeliner and see how well that works. 

This is the eye shadow base I use and it works wonderful.  My shadow stays on all day.

Bridesmaid Dresses

My sister and my mom picked this dress out and think that it would be nice for me to wear for her (my sister's) wedding.  I wanted to say WTH!!  What are they trying to say?  that I need that much to hide my body?  Well, after looking at it for a while, I saw that it wasn't so bad.  But still, I am not totally feeling that at all.  This what they picked out.

However, I think these (below) are cute and I wouldn't mind wearing.

BUT, I did say that it is her wedding and I will wear whatever she wants me to wear.  Even if she wants me to wear something like this. (please don't do it sis...I love you)

Shoe Wishes

Because I havent been shopping for myself, my craving has increased even more.  You know like when you diet, all of a sudden you want everything you see, even the things you never thought of eating.  Well, that's kinda like how I am now.  I want it all.  So I am going to start my wish list for whenever I see something - and maybe, just maybe one day, after this drought is over, I can go back and get these, if I still like/want/crave them.

Feeling Blue & Pairing it up!

I have had this problem of separating pieces that came together.  I wouldn’t take the jacket of a suit or the pants/skirt off a jacket and put it together with another.  Don’t know why this is was, but I have always had a big issue with this.  But now, since I am not into the suits as much, I am taking their tops!!! Yes, I am taking the jackets and pairing them with other bottoms! YIKES :}

Below is my 1^st try.  This jacket came with some pants that I am not so crazy about anymore.  So I took the jacket and paired with some dark blue skinny jeans and added a color inside to make it pop with some neutral funky shoes.

Friday Bla W/My Cargo Pants

I wasn't going to post my outfit today because I really did feel kinda bla.  But then I said to myself, how in the world will I remember if I wore this or when I wore it?...lol So here is my Friday Bla. 

I do love these cargo pants from Express.  They are so comfy and make my legs look a bit bigger because of the side pockets.  Love them - I have them in gray as well.  So glad its Friday. Please enjoy your weekend and have a nice glass of wine!

P.S., that bag, is not my going out bag - I was at the gym and took a picture while there.  I am going to try to take my pictures there from now on. The light is sooo much better.

Payless!!!!  Yes, Payless has all these shoes! Who would have thunk!  I mean, I dont know how kind they will be on your feet, but I cant imagine that the flats would be that bad.

Tissue Please

And this is why I do what I do and they do what they do.  It’s the simple things that they (the really smart people) do that make our life so much easier.  I would have never thought about adding yellow tissue at the end to let people know that you are now running out of tissue.  I love it.
